Please note, to keep our properties safe from scams and unauthorised bookings, we are now protected by the leading short let insurance provider in Europe, Superhog. Unlike hotels we have no way of checking identity of our guests on arrival, so we will ask you to e-verify your details via their Know Your Guest form where you will have an opportunity to choose an optional non-refundable damage waiver @ £35 per stay, covering you for any accidental damage claims on Airbnb or VRBO and direct bookings, up to £500.
This does not cover malicious damage, damage caused by breaking house rules.

Once booked you will receive a link in the welcome message and easy to follow steps. All information is for check in purposes only and strictly confidential. We do not hold any information on our database and Superhog adheres to GDPR and will dispose of any data held accordingly with the GDPR regulations.


PRICE PER NIGHT:
covers up to 2 people sleeping in the main bed on the mezzanine.
Extra person fee will be charged automatically for every person after 2 including children / or infants.

Entire flat is for guests use.

CHECK IN:
Standard from 4pm.

Keys available from Keynest shops:
1. For check in BEFORE 22:00 @ Maxwell's, 147 Gloucester Rd, SW7 (also a Nannybag luggage storage).
5 mins walk from the flat / 2 mins from tube.
Opening Hours: 7 days a week 8:00am - 22:00.

2. For PRE-ARRANGED LATE NIGHT check in AFTER 22:00 @ Earl's Court Food & Wine, 216-218, 218 Earls Ct Rd, London SW5 9QB (1 stop from Gloucester Rd) or approx. 15mins walk from the flat / 2 mins from tube.
Opening Hours: 24 hrs / 7 days a week.

TIP: It is really important that you complete your Guest Form with your landing time so we know if we have to set a collection code from 24/7 shop in Earl's Court or the default one at Maxwell's.
Please allow approx. 2-2.5hrs from the landing time to the flat from most London airports.

IMPORTANT:
Keys will have to be returned at the end of your stay to the same Keynest you have collected from.
Keys left in the wrong shop or Earl's Court keys left at the flat will have to be taken back by the staff. Drop off charge £20.

EARLY CHECK IN:
Subject to availability and charge at £17 per hr up to 3pm. From 3pm free subject to availability.
Please request at the time of booking in Guest Arrival Form.

LUGGAGE DROP OFF:
From 11:30am subject to availability. Or use link to luggage store, which will be sent in Welcome Message after booking.

STANDARD CHECKOUT:
At 11am

EARLY CHECKOUT: before 11am, please confirm your departure time in the Guest Arrival Form, as we need to re-arrange housekeeping and / or keys return.
Please advise us as soon as possible if your checkout time changes from that advised in the Guest Form.

LATE CHECK OUTS: Subject to availability and charge at £17 per hr after 11am.
Please request at the time of booking in Guest Arrival Form and advise us of any changes

Unarranged late checkout @ £24 p/hr if staff has to wait for more than 15mins.

LUGGAGE STORAGE ON DEPARTURE:
You can leave your luggage up until the cleaner finishes and no later than 13:30 unless other timing arranged with us in Guest Arrival Form.
Please note we cannot allow entry to property once cleaning and disinfection are completed.
Alternatively we recommend Nannybag or Luggage Hero with locations near stations all over London. We will send you the link to nearest one, once you book.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
✔ EXTRA BEDLINEN @£29.00 per set on request, if needed over and above linens provided for each bed in bedrooms, e.g. for air bed, sofa, etc. Please request in Guest Arrival Form as we need to book linen hire in advance.

✔ CHILD CRIB @ £39.00 per stay .
A foldable child crib, complete with mattress, mattress protector and fitted sheet. Please bring your own baby linens.

✔ ON DEMAND CLEANING: Other than complimentary mid-stay, you can book it via us. Cleaner charges @ £25 p/hr + VAT and must be booked min 24hrs in advance.

✔ DRY CLEANING / LAUNDRY: please scan QR code from a hanger in the hallway wardrobe.

SMOKING IN THE BUILDING is strictly prohibited.

MEZZANINE:
Please remember that the bedroom is a sleeping platform on a mezzanine (loft) above the living room, therefore it is with restricted ceiling height . 148cm.
The staircase has just been amended to improve accessibility but we do not think it is suitable for small children.
The main window faces internal lightwell, so views are not the apartment's strength.

PLEASE NOTE, WE DO NOT OWN THE BUILDING:
We can only take responsibility for what happens in our flat. We will do our best to alert building management to any issues to do with neighbours or communal areas, that we do not control.

DOGS:
Max 1 dog per stay. We only accept small hypoallergenic dog breeds. Dogs but must be house trained and owners have to bring bowls, poo bags, blanket, dog bed. Pet fee applies @ £79 per stay.
GUEST INTERACTION
SELF CHECK-IN FLAT, but we will be available to answer any questions before, during and after your stay.
Please note we are in GMT time zone so we respond to messages between 9am and 21:00 GMT every day.
If you send us a message after hours we will respond next morning.

For emergencies (staying guests) please send us a Whats App and we will do our best to help.

Please note there is a Ring video doorbell on the outside of the flat. Should you struggle getting in, please Whats App us and we will do our best to help.
NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
Gloucester Road is in the heart of the upmarket cosmopolitan and safe neighbourhood of South Kensington. Postcode SW7. Zone 2.
A short stroll past pretty cafes and bars to Kensington Gardens (approx. 10 mins walk) and a shopping mecca of Kensington High Street to one side, and a scenic walk to Natural History, Science and Victoria & Albert Museums (12mins walk) to the other, the apartment is ideally situated for exploring London's cultural and culinary pursuits.
And if shopping is your thing, simply continue on Brompton Road, peppered with high end boutiques to arrive at iconic Harrods at the end.
With close proximity to key transport links it is ideally located for access to London Fashion Week shows, Olympia Exhibition Centre, Chelsea Design Centre and all London airports.
GETTING AROUND
ACCESSIBILITY - PLEASE NOTE THE FLAT IS NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE.
Please note buildings on Gloucester Rd all have raised ground floor, so there are 4-5 steps leading from the pavement to the building's main door.
Inside flat is on the same level as entrance, but inside the flat there are 8 steps leading to the mezzanine sleeping level.
There is a reduced ceiling height over mezzanine - approx. 148cm

Nearest tube: Gloucester Road - Zone 2 for Oyster cards.
Tube lines: Piccadilly, Circle and District
Buses: 49, 74, N74, N97
Parking: There are quite few pay & display bays in side streets on either side of the building. Fee is about £4 per hour and operational hours are usually Mon-Fri 8:30am-18:30pm, Saturdays 8:30am-1:30pm and Sundays - free parking. But please check boards as those times may be subject to change.
Important - Yellow parking suspension boards - if parking please check if the bay has not been suspended. If so there will be a yellow board informing what days and times restrictions apply.
Please observe that continuous dashed lines indicate Residents Permit Holders only bays. Please don't park in those as you may get towed away.

Take Piccadilly Line to Gloucester Road - approx. travel time 39mins

FROM GATWICK: approx. 1hr 10 mins
OPTION 1 - Take Gatwick Express to Victoria, walk across to underground station and take District or Circle line to Gloucester Rd - approx. travel time - 1hr

OPTION 2 - Walk to Gatwick Airport Rail Station, Take Thameslink to Blackfriars, change for District or Circle Line to Gloucester Road - approx. travel time 1hr 10mins

FROM STANSTED: approx. 1hr 20mins
Take Stansted Express to Liverpool Street, change for District & Circle Line to Gloucester Road

FROM LUTON: approx. 1hr 10mins
Thameslink to Farringdon, change at Farringdon (walk across the same platform) for District Line to Gloucester Rd
